This is where the pitch gets shaky. Vagal Tone is a real, measurable physiological quantity. Vibration-based stimulation of it is not equally well established.
A 2025 pilot study published on PubMed tested vibrotactile stimulation of the vagus nerve directly, with results appearing in PLOS One.
